What is a SIP trunk?
With a SIP trunk, you connect your existing IP PBX to the public telephone network (PSTN) via your internet connection. The prerequisite for a good voice quality is that your Internet line has enough bandwidth. About 100 kBit/s are needed in the upload and download per call.
